Answer: to shoot themselves in the ass. Yes, literally.
SPARKS, Nev., Aug. 15 (UPI) -- A man was injured by an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound he sustained during a showing of the movie "The Bourne Legacy" in Sparks, Nev., police said.
Police said one caller reported hearing seven or eight shots being fired in one of the theaters of the Sparks Century Theater Tuesday, a police report indicated.[..]
"The subject got up, apologized, and exited the theater prior to police arrival," the police report said. "The subject was later located at a hospital in Reno with a through-and through-gunshot wound to his buttocks."
Guns are not toys. They're not keychains. They're not wallets or cell phones. They're weapons that need to be handled with care. People who are distracted, for example watching a movie, should not be carrying a gun. Frankly why anyone other than a criminal or a police officer actually needs to carry a gun as they go about their day is beyond me.
I suppose shooting yourself in the ass is the best possible outcome. It could have turned out much, much worse.
