Irving Pinsky: Dead Kids Make Me Money

I've had the dubious honor of blogging about lots of assholes here on World of Suck, but I think we've found their king: Irving Pinsky.

A lawyer who's asking to sue Connecticut for $100 million on behalf of a 6-year-old Newtown school shooting survivor who heard violence over the school's intercom system says the potential claim is about improving school security, not money.

"It's about living in a world that's safe," New Haven attorney Irving Pinsky told The Associated Press on Saturday. "The answer is about protecting the kids." (AP)

Of course Irving fails to explain how $100m would actually *improve* safety, after all if that were the actual intent wouldn't it be a cause to raise money for the state school system, not drain it?

Pinksy's client, whom he calls "Jill Doe" in the claim, sustained "emotional and psychological trauma and injury" on Dec. 14 after gunman Adam Lanza forced his way into Sandy Hook Elementary School and gunned down 20 children and six adults inside in one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history.

The child heard "conversations, gunfire and screaming" over Sandy Hook's intercom after someone in the office apparently switched on the system, according to the claim. Pinsky said Saturday he didn't know whether his client saw anyone die.

The state Board of Education, Department of Education and state education commissioner failed to protect the child "from foreseeable harm," including by failing to provide a safe school setting, the filing said.

$100m for the trauma of one, living six year old. Really. Not for the parents of the children that died, or the families of teachers who were murdered. You're damn right that the family associated with the lawsuit will remain anonymous, one can only imagine the reaction of neighbors and residents when they find out who it is. And they will, because such greed can't possibly remain hidden, not for long.

Irving Pinsky know this: your name will go down in association with Adam Lanza in no good way. You helped no one, you're harming everyone, and you're a greedy leech that deserves the good salting he's going to get.

I second that.

I hate jackass sue crazy lawyers. What happened in Sandy Hook Elementary is tragic. Someone hoping to profit from it is disgusting. This dirt bag lawyer is the type of lawyer that give all lawyers a bad name.

Kids see violence everyday, some recover well, some don't. Should someone be able to sue the police on behalf of little Johnny because he saw Mommy's ex-boyfriend beat her to death and the cops weren't there to stop him? Should my parents have been able to sue a car manufacturer because I saw a car accident and after view of a decapitated man nightmares me up at night?

Well it is almost hard to say anything because it probably wouldn't be printed. If Pinsky is so concerned about school safety let him sue for One Dollar to make his point. Imagine if he was successful in his 100 million dollar suit. This low life would get 33 million. What he should do is sue GOD for making him (Pinsky) the biggest, scumiest asshole ever to draw a breath!!!

I seriously doubt that there is a Jill Doe -- or that Irving had an actual client at all. My bet is that Irv decided he would be first the courthouse to file a ludicrous claim, but garnering the media attention and thus other actual victims would come forward seeking to get on board with this lawyer who looks like he's kicking ass and taking names. Problem is, none came forward, Jane Doe doesn't exist, and now he's looking like an ass. The giveaway was "Pinsky said Saturday he didn't know whether his client saw anyone die." If Irv hasen't interviewed his client and star witness enough to know even THAT, which would in reality make or break his case for $100 million, then it's safe to assume it's all made up. I hope the state investigates this "lawsuit" and takes the steps necessary to prosecute a claim against Irv for filing this unmerited case in the first place.

This dung must believe in God because he(it) just validated Scripture: the love of MONEY is the root of all EVIL.

I grew up in Newtown and my mother and brother still love there. What our town has suffered through is not to be profited from, or exploited. If Irving Pinsky, the scumbag lawyer had seen the carnage inside the school he would not be as flippant and grand standing as he is currently. People like this make me sick. Worse than the typical stereotype scumbag unethical lawyer, this guy sets a new standard for the word immoral. I'd advise him never to come to Newtown. My hope is your assinine POS actions have destroyed your practice. That's the best we can hope for. More appropriately, maybe God will strike you down or make you, suffer like many related to this tradegy have suffered.

You of course that Irving Spinsky has had his law license suspended in Connecticut (2003) and been reprimanded in Conn. (1989). This is the kind of person he is, and the kind of lawyer he is. Share that with all the folks on the web. I wonder if his client (which wasn't named) sought him out or he sought them out (aka, "ambulance chaser"). The law firms I use would never do this kind of thing. If the client sought him out, there will eventually be public record -- and shame on them (you in Newtown may know who they are).

This immoral, money chasing, publicity hound of a lawyer should be disbarred if only because he is an embarrassment to the legal profession.

Irving Pinsky ought to be ashamed of himself and so should the family wanting to sue. What a travesty. Is that man crazy? He deserves (and the family he represents too) all the flack he needs to get from now on.

This lawyer should be dis-barred...
1) there is no 6 year old little girl....
2) this is just a lawyer out to line is pockets just a frivolous case....
3) this school did take steps for actions like this, Bullet proof doors? There is no requirement and no other school has Bullet proof doors...
4) this asshole has no case, no victim, no problems with building, etc....

He's STILL AT IT. Last month he petitioned the state of Connecticut to open files on information he wanted (presumably for the lawsuit still). Disgusting.
