Im not worried

Obviously there are more 'non-rich' than 'rich' in this country. Politicians love pandering to those less fortunate thus creating a class warfare system of rich vs poor to energize them for votes every election cycle - a mob mentality. We've let this happen over the last 30 yrs, as depicted in the graph and we've nobody to blame but ourselves. We've let the elitists run amok using class warfare - and there is no doubt that it works. They have managed to successfully hook the majority of the population on the new 'crack' cocaine called "entitlements". As with any addiction one must hit rock bottom before recovery can begin, this economic situation is no different. It's almost ironic to see Law Enforcement hauling people off to jail for dealing drugs yet our Politicians enjoy sainthood, or Bernie Mahdoff jailed over a ponzi scheme that pales in comparison to the ponzi scheme of entitlements our politicians pander daily. Bernie Mahdoff may have devastated a few thousand peoples lives, but the current Government ponzi schemes will devastate tens of millions, on and off shore. Think any of them will be paraded around in handcuffs? I think not.

These politicians know the entitlements are not sustainable - in fact most of us with an IQ over 100 know they're not sustainable. They won't make the cuts necessary because they realize it will ruin their chances for re-election in the next cycle. The lobbyists, the donors, the selfish constituencies will rally and march, jump up and down, moan and groan.

Personally I'm not worried about the economy. The talking heads on the cable news shows and radio programs speak of doom and gloom and looming anarchy. That's just stupid. I'm not bothered by that rhetoric in any way. Fires go out by themselves when they run out of fuel, black holes cease to exist when they run out of matter - the current economic situation is no different. Entitlements will run out of food (money) and the problem will be over. We'll have hit rock bottom and then the recovery can begin. The selfish will not have a hand to feed them, those that feel entitled will finally realize they caused the crash themselves. They'll realize all those decades of blaming Wall street, big business and rich CEO's was not only frivolous but ignorant. Society as a whole will instead look in the mirror and realize that just as their votes counted, so did their acceptance of the handouts.

Over the last 30 yrs we've created this monster and it's just about consumed everything around it. Don't worry... the problem is going to correct itself soon - let's hope our Government realizes there is no way to stop this, stand out of the way and let it happen.
