Hey Look Everybody! Congress Thinks It's Doing A Good Job!
Hilarity. Bitter, bitter, angry hilarity.
WASHINGTON, March 12 (UPI) -- Members of the U.S. Congress say they're happy with their jobs, feel fulfilled and believe they're contributing to the public good, a new report indicated.
The study by the Congressional Management Foundation and the Society for Human Resource Management, released Tuesday, indicated 89 percent of House members who responded to a survey conducted Aug. 4-Oct. 31, 2011, said they felt satisfaction that they were "performing an important public service," Roll Call reported.
Awww they're happy and fulfilled. That's so sweet, UNLIKE SAY ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE/ARE LOSING THEIR JOBS DUE TO THE FACT THAT CONGRESS ISN'T ACTUALLY *DOING* THEIRS.

I have met enough politicians to know that most of their egos are so over inflated that they think their mere presence "representing" their constituents is enough. Many think their unrealistic or unimplementable ideas are like manna from God. If I thought I could stomach the schmucks I might consider running for office, but 90% of the politicians I've met make me want to hurl.
