Elisabeth Smith of RSC HS Needs a Sense of Humor

There have been senior pranks as long as there have been schools. Some are funny, some are rude, some are down right nasty and destructive.

Students at the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School had an innovative prank. They used post-it notes to "graffiti" the school one night. (article) They had some co-conspirators (janitors) that let them in. And they were ready to clean it up the next morning.

What did the administration do? They suspended the students and disallowed them from attending the senior picnic. Superintendent (or shall I call her die Führerin), Elisabeth Smith stated:

"As adults in this learning community, we are not willing to sacrifice the health and safety of ourselves or our students, we are not willing to sacrifice the integrity of our school building, and we will not tolerate the loss of valuable planning or instructional time," she wrote. "These acts and any similar acts will be dealt with in accordance with our disciplinary code of conduct, and with the assistance of local law enforcement."

Luckily a local business gave these kids a party on the day of the senior picnic. (Big raspberry to Ms. Smith)

In a day and age of true vandalism as pranks, these kids should be applauded. Their prank was cute and amusing with no true lasting effects.

I do want to know one thing, does Ms. Smith need to remove the stick from her ass when she poops?

What a twat. I sincerely doubt that anyone can honestly consider a Post-it note a threat to anything other than a poor memory.
