So there is this spiffy new GM commercial on TV now with the new el Presidente exclaiming that GM has repaid it's 4 or 5 billion in TARP money back already and how proud of the company he is and that we should all buy GM products now and feel warm and fuzzy. Truth is he lied. All GM did was use their OTHER loan money from TARP to pay their public TARP funds down yet they are still into us taxpayers for the same amount.. PLUS they took another 2.2 billion on top of it!!! Isn't that neat? They took money from one pocket and put it in another and exclaim they've repaid their debt to society. Obama's own TARP manager even said this is disgraceful in interviews today. Ok Mr. Obama, how about a speech condemning this horrible big business behavior. You'll never speak out against it since you need the union votes coming up here shortly in the fall of 2010 and later on in 2012.

Where is the outcry over this? How is this any different than the big bad shady business people on Wall Street? They shuffle funds around too, and many of them ended up in jail over it. Oh wait.. this is different because they saved the Union jobs.. ok nevermind then. Again.. hypocrisy really sucks.
