Catherine Davis has no problem selling her sisters into slavery, in fact she wants them to embrace the shackles that bind them into poverty. She's against reproductive freedom for black women and plays as a front for an all-white organization that is against abortion. Under the claim that there's a "conspiracy" to kill off African-American babies, she freely tries to brainwash young women into accepting a burden that will deprive them of their freedom, youth and education.

Keep 'em barefoot and pregnant is her motto.

Instead of tackling the reason young black women are find themselves pregnant she's selling a line of bullshit that won't pay the bills or feed the baby. Instead of turning to the men that are getting them pregnant in the first place, she's spreading strife and hatred. Instead of building a future for young blacks, she's burdening them with babies they haven't the resources to care for. To me it sounds like she's the one trying to keep her sisters down by preventing them from getting to a future where they can afford to be mothers and raise their babies in security.
