Remember that off season special election I ranted about yesterday? Well, I got a phone call about noon, message on answering machine said something to the effect of "We noticed you haven't voted yet, please go vote." I was like "okay . . . ."

Then tonight, while watching TV the phone rings and I answer the phone. It is the same message. Guess what, I hadn't voted. Felt like crap and didn't want to schlep off to the polling place. Had no intention of going. However, being told they know I didn't vote and being reminded to vote is just creepy.

Was it a shot in the dark, or does big brother really know I blew off the special election? I really don't like being paranoid, but . . .

P.S. Spoke to someone else and they got the same thing - very creepy.
