If you live in 20th Congressional District you know these two names and can't wait for tomorrow to be over. For those of you that don't know, the 20th Congressional District seat was vacated when Kirsten Gillibrand was selected to replace Hillary Clinton in the Senate. Tomorrow is the special election to fill the seat.

Over the past week, I have gotten at least a dozen of those glossy 6 X 8 endorsements from this organization or that. I was listening to the news while I did a few things around the house and ALL the commercials during two whole "breaks" were for one or the other - six commercials - finally turned the damn TV off. Then the phone rang - It was the local paper endorsing one of the candidates and telling me to "vote independently". I am still figuring out how suddenly a candidate from one of the main parties is "independent" . . . whatever.

I will just be glad to have it over tomorrow. The presidential crap was enough torture. To have to deal with another load of political bull dung within six months is . . . argh!!!
