Captain Lisa Stout settled with United Airlines over a sexual harassment suit. What was the harassment? Porno pics hidden in the flight deck of the 737's she flew. Rather than ignore the pictures or dispose of them herself, she would make maintenance staff remove the "inappropriate material". She claimed to be so scarred as to need medication to cope with the whole ordeal.

I only consider it harassment if it is personal. In other words if someone left a few nudies in places they knew Capt. Stout would look. Rather it sounds as if the material that was offensive to this prude was placed in rather concealed places, which makes me ask: Did Capt. Stout look for the pictures after she inadvertently found the first one? Sounds a bit over sensitive and paranoid to me.

Also note that Ms. Stout was not so offended by the human body to avoid nudes in her artwork - What's up with that? Oh and by the way, there is an author by the same name who is a pilot and lives in the same area - coincidence? What is that on the cover of "Aardvark Memories"? Me thinkest I see boobies on the cover.

Was her motivation financial? (There were two other similar cases that won cash awards from other airlines) Was she really that over sensitive? Only Lisa Stout can say for sure. However, to me she seems a bit like a drama queen.

Just for the record I am a woman working in a male dominated field, frequently dealing with less educated men than I'm sure Capt. Stout encountered. I have had to deal with my fair share of pieces of work, but I have dealt with them myself without acting like some traumatized drama queen. I also don't have much patience for the whiny, fix the problem for weak little old me types - Fix it yourself. Capt. Stout, if you really are an author, stick to writing from the comfort of your own porno-free home. You give other women trying to prove they ain't a bunch a prissy primadonnas a bad name.

On the other hand maybe she's just a dyke that got caught drooling over the material and needed an excuse... ("No really it wasn't drool! I was throwing up!")
